Who we are
At CASK Law, we’re a close-knit team of seven passionate lawyers—Allan Greber, Amy Diaz, Kaylee Ness, Chandra Oliver, Spencer Diederich, Spencer Merlo and Patrice Brideau — who came together in 2024 - 2025 to serve the Grande Prairie community. With backgrounds in various legal fields, we deal with everything from real estate and family law to corporate matters and personal injury. Our approach is all about you; we pride ourselves on being approachable and dedicated to providing the best legal support tailored to your needs. We love being part of this vibrant community and are committed to making a positive impact while helping you navigate your legal journey with confidence and ease.

Chandra Oliver
Chandra is a long-time resident of Grande Prairie, Alberta and proudly calls this city her ‘hometown’. After graduating from St. Joseph’s Catholic High School, she earned a Bachelor of Education in 2013 from the University of Alberta; completing all four years on campus at the Grande Prairie Regional College. Chandra then taught locally, supported numerous initiatives as a community volunteer, and immersed herself in international travel. In 2019 she obtained a Canadian J.D., graduating from the University of Manitoba’s Law Program. Chandra has built a practice primarily focused on Real Estate and Wills & Estates.
Chandra values family, artistic expression, and is committed to representing members of this community.

Kaylee Ness
Kaylee was born and raised in Grande Prairie, Alberta. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2015 at the University of Calgary where she double majored in Sociology and Psychology. Following her Bachelor Degree, she graduated from the University of Windsor and Detroit Mercy School of Law cum laude where she obtained a Canadian J.D. and an American J.D in 2018. Kaylee also worked as a judicial extern to Judge Eric Cholack in the 3rd Circuit Family Court of Michigan. Kaylee’s practice areas are focused in real estate, wills & estates, corporate and family law.
When not in the office, Kaylee enjoys shopping, travelling, knitting and spending time with her husband, Tyson and their young family.

Amy Diaz
Amy grew up in North Carolina, and practiced in Vancouver, before settling in Grande Prairie. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History in 2005 from the University of Victoria and then her LLB from the University of Leicester in England in 2012.
Throughout her practice, Amy has been involved in several areas of law, including civil litigation, corporate and commercial law, real estate law and general business law. Amy’s primary areas of focus at CASK LLP are civil litigation and employment law.
When not in the office, Amy enjoys running, spinning, and travelling.

Patrice Brideau
Patrice Brideau was born and raised in the small coastal town of Shippagan, New Brunswick. He graduated with a Bachelor of Music from the Université de Moncton in 2002 and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the same university in 2005. Before joining CASK Law LLP as a partner in 2025, he practiced for two years in Fredericton, New Brunswick, as well as at another Grande Prairie law firm for 17 years.
He is an experienced litigator whose practice is focused in the area of civil litigation, with a focus on surface rights and expropriation law, construction law, foreclosure law, employment law and commercial disputes.
Patrice is fully bilingual and has a passion for music and good food. -
Allan Greber
Al was born and raised in Hythe, Alberta. He graduated from the University of Alberta Law School in 1992, then practiced in Edmonton until 1995. He then returned to the Peace country to practice, where he ultimately formed offices in Grande Prairie and Beaverlodge.
Al practiced until June 2023 when he retired for the first time. Then, in October of 2024, Al returned to the profession.
Al’s practice areas are Real Estate, Wills & Estates and Corporate Commercial.
When not in the office, Al enjoys playing golf, pickleball, traveling and watching sports.

Spencer Diederich
Spencer was born and raised in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Despite living in a variety of cities throughout her post-secondary education, she considers Grande Prairie home. After graduating from Peace Wapiti Academy, she earned her Bachelor of Secondary Education Degree from the University of Alberta in 2020. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor and Master of Laws from Bond University in 2022. During her law degree, Spencer was a member of the Executive Committee of the Canadian Law Students Association at Bond University. Spencer’s practice areas include Litigation, Real Estate, and Wills & Estates.
Outside of the office, Spencer enjoys cooking, baking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her loved ones.

Spencer Merlo
Spencer was born and raised in Grande Prairie, Alberta. He earned a B.A. (Philosophy) from the University of Victoria and a law degree from the University of Calgary. He maintains a practice in commercial and residential real estate and corporate commercial law. Spencer cares deeply about his clients, works hard for them, and is simply a lawyer worth having.
Before practicing law Spencer was a fishing guide in Northern Saskatchewan. He continues to be passionate about the outdoors and is actively involved in not-for-profit causes in the community.
